Stylist & Mom

Tell us about your crew

Sloane is 3, and Powell will be 2 soon.

How do you take your coffee?

Large flavored iced with just a little skim. And it must be a brewed flavor, not a flavor shot!

Where are you from, where do you live now?

I am originally from Liverpool, NY (outside of Syracuse) and currently live in Andover, MA (outside of Boston).

Describe your personal style

Trendy yet simple, slightly classic.

What inspires you?

My husband and my daughters. It is cliche but I want to be the best I can everyday because of them!

Where is your happy place?

Doing something active or just being at home with my family. Oh, and riding my Peloton, too!

Best style tip for children & parents?

Neutrals are your best friend! Even if she wants to wear the multicolored dress up tutu that you don’t like whatsoever, throw a chambray/grey/black/cream top with it and she will still look put together! Same with those crazy board shorts for a little guy; a navy/grey/white polo will be the ultimate compliment to those shorts, too!

What's your perfect Saturday?

Coffee, dance class with the girls, more coffee and breakfast sandwiches, indoor or outdoor park (depending on the time of year) or something active with the family, out to lunch or home for lunch, Peloton ride and then either hanging with friends and their kids somewhere or a date night with my husband, Rob, either alone or with friends.

What does "doing it all" look like in your world?

Doing it all to me means being fulfilled both personally and professionally. Being able to combine my children and my career has been so amazing!

Why do you love working for Mac & Mia?

I love how this company empowers women and mothers and I also love the flexibility it provides for the working mother. It truly is the best of both worlds! Oh, and the adorable children’s clothes aren’t so bad either 🙂
