I have been married to my husband, Robby, for 4 years, and we have a 2 year-old daughter, Camryn, and another daughter due in May! We are so excited to have two girls!
I always drink iced vanilla lattes!
I grew up in Detroit, MI, and moved around the West Coast after college. I met my husband in the Bay Area, lived in LA while he was in grad school, and then moved to Tacoma, WA. After having our daughter, we moved to Lansing, MI, to be closer to family!
My style is… girly, comfy, floral, ruffles, and some sparkle!
My daughter inspires me! She is an endless spirit of energy who brings out the best in me!
My happy place is at the beach, preferably in Hawaii, with my family!
My best style tip would be to provide lots of mix and match basics that can be paired together in multiple ways. For example, a variety of seasonal colors or fun patterns on bottoms that pair with a lot of neutral tops can be a great compromise to ensure that your little one can boast their own style without making your head spin!
My perfect Saturday would be waking up to coffee (iced vanilla latte, of course) and homemade pancakes! Then, it would be off to explore and go shopping in a new downtown or, in the summer, a trip to the lake or zoo!
In our world, “doing it all” means that we are very busy, pursuing our beliefs and passions in order to support our family. My husband and I are very committed to our church and student ministry, enjoy coaching youth sports, and are overly obsessed with our daughter(s)! But, we make sure to squeeze in time to watch our favorite TV shows, run out to get frozen yogurt, shop at as many malls as possible, and have dance parties with Camryn! It definitely is not always the easiest way of life to balance, but it has been super rewarding to get to do so much with both our professional and personal time!
I love working for Mac & Mia because the stylist role is my dream job!! I love people and shopping, and I absolutely love that I get to make my clients’ lives easier by shopping for them! I feel extremely grateful to get to pursue my professional dreams while staying at home with my daughter!
